Practice Description:
We specialize in community mediation: Neighbor-to-neighbor mediation in homeowner associations, condo associations, neighborhood associations, retirement communities, and specialized communities. We also provide mediation and facilitation to the boards of directors that govern them. We help you find creative, realistic and sustainable third-way solutions to get your primary needs met.
Approach to Practice / Form of Mediation:
Through facilitative Mediation we help our clients find creative, realistic and sustainable third-way solutions to get their primary needs met. We also offer the unique benefit of traveling to your site – we come to you!
Background:
The Standpoint team has mediated thousands of conflicts collectively. Our mediators have professional experience working as adjunct professors, real estate agents, business owners, contractors, board members and as homeowners with neighbors. We are passionate about creating better dialog in our communities. Our team understands conflict happens, the pain of conflict and the joys of finding resolution when there's little hope. Inspired by seeing conflict resolution skills in play, and the results, is why we are here today.
Education / Training:
Our mediators hold various degrees and certificates including a BA in Communications, BA in Psychology, Master’s degree in Creativity, an MBA, and Certificates in Mediation and Dispute Resolution, and Conflict Resolution, Negotiation and Mediation.

Our mediation fee is $150.00 an hour per mediator. This fee is usually split between the parties. In some circumstances, we’re willing to negotiate our fees, so feel free to ask.
