Practice Description:
Molly has a private practice in mediation, facilitation and conflict management skill building. In the past twenty-five years she has provided services to hundreds of individuals and teams in the areas of conflict management, interest-based problem solving, facilitation, change management, and effective teams. Her primary focus is on conflict in places of work. This can be conflict within teams or between individuals; between combinations of peers, supervisors, executives, board members, task groups, agencies, and/or customers.
Approach to Practice / Form of Mediation:
Molly’s practice philosophy is that her most important role is to elicit the skills that already exist among the people she is working with. Her goal is to assist individuals and groups as they find their own solutions. Molly believes that resolutions are more durable if the whole system affecting the dispute is considered.
Background:
Molly's clients include human service providers, business and government employees, and educators. Her initial training ground was on the Navajo Reservation in New Mexico where she worked with Navajo elders. She volunteers as a moderator for the League of Women Voters, has served on the board of the Oregon Mediation Association, and is a member of the National Association for Conflict Resolution. Molly is a recipient of the Excellence in Mediation Award from the Oregon Mediation Association.
